I was walking back to my car from a baseball game and happened to see a trio of squirrels scurrying about within a hollowed tree trunk. Every now and then one would pop out from one of the many holes, then flee back inside when they saw me moving in for the shot. I happened to get them coming out of most of the holes, those this shot of one poking his head out from the top was my favorite of the bunch. =)

Squirrels are just the funniest bestest things to get catch cute moments of!!!! I once saw a squirrel that just HAD to lay down like a rug on this specific shady spot on a hot day. You could scare him off but as soon as you leave he gets right back to where he left of.
