I think the reason so many people are "glorified" over that ending is because of the Project Kursed game in development.

I admit I've been curious about Project Kursed's plot, but the very idea of a story continuing that ending seems like a retcon waiting to happen.

Yeah, the whole "Kursed" ending in Star Fox Command was by far, my least favorite ending. I think they kinda made Krystal almost to unlikeable in some of the alternate paths of SFC. (Meenwhile, she's perfectlly nice & reasonable in some paths, adding to confusion.)

Anyways, nice emotional pic. (Hey, we all hafta draw at least 1 "emo" pic in our lifetime.)

I liked the ending only because it was pushing the character development a little. Star Fox was afraid to do that before, if things got just a little unsteady they quickly ran back to their cookie-cutter happy plot where nobody ever got hurt or sad.

The thing about it, is that it doesn't mean that she can never be happy again. ;D I just liked it for the potential of other plots to stem from it (granted, the "Fox did not recognize her on Kew" thing sounded a little unneccesary, but it's better than Fox and Falco becoming F-Zero racers).

I like the way you've drawn this, actually. Especially the way the blankets are wrapped around her legs. The hair is a tad helter-skelter, I would give them a bit more form; even though it's supposed to be messy, you can still draw it more fluidly and connected. That's my only major gripe, though. It feels different from most "OMG KURSED BAAAW" pictures, in that it feels natural. It's not coated with melodrama. Nice work in doing that.

I'm there with what was previously said -- I enjoy this ending because it pushes SF in a direction that the makers were previously hesitant to go.

That aside, I love this picture, a whole lot! You've captured emotion greatly, and the background adds nicely to the idea that Kursed is really struggling with life now.

While I'm on that subject, where do you picture Fox and Krystal living domestically most of the time (in good/canon endings)?
