Hello from Sauria!

Request from :iconsonicx25:, who wanted me to draw the McCloud family...Fox, Krystal and son Marcus. For those of you wondering who Marcus is, well...

WARNING: STAR FOX COMMAND SPOILER
In one of the endings, Star Fox disbands and Fox reunites with Krystal, whom he kicked off the team before the game. They retire to Sauria, where they raise a son, Marcus. Marcus is destined to start a new Star Fox team. This is a non-canonical ending, however, as it is one of nine paths in the game, and none can be considered the real one.
END STAR FOX COMMAND SPOILERS

This is actually the second time I've drawn this trio, though Marcus was only a little guy in the other one...I guess he's still a little guy here, but he's a BIGGER little guy. Won't be long now before he's blasting bogies out of the sky, just like his old man!

Had to actually redraw a significant portion of this AFTER completing it, as Marcus looked kinda...off. Given the general reaction to his...um..."excited" appearance in the game artwork, I decided not to help contribute to the idea that there's something wrong with the poor kid.

And hey, look! 1152x864! I guess that makes it a wallpaper or something. :P

Fox, Krystal and Marcus belong to Nintendo. Art belongs to me.

That'd be neat. Even if they do move to a Star Fox: Next Generation thing, it doesn't necessarily exclude older characters. Slippy could provide upgrades, Peppy would be in command of the Cornerian Army, Falco has already been established as a returning Star Fox member...Fox n' Krystal can even be summoned to a job that might be an intricate part of the storyline. Ya never know.
